Group Celebrations

Which ended on a sad note, for me at least. Took MRT to AMK hub to meet with HAWK WHOO, then bought Alvin and the Chimpmunks 2 (OF ALL BLOODY MOVIES WE WATCH THIS) then lala around in the arcade then had lunch then watched the movie which was spastic then lalaed around somemore then uh. CHIONGED (took our time) to go to east coast park where everyone was lost because we had no idea where to find the Macdonalds. So we had to take a cab and waste money.

So we had to go to this jetty like 1+km from the macdonalds and we RAN (strolled) to the jetty only to find that we were given free time up to 7. It was 4:45 and we were 45 minutes late. -.-

So we lalaed around, tokcok then went to watch people bowl and go to arcade then went back to the jetty (btw I keep spelling jetty as jerry) for teh roflmao barbacue. So in between eating and patrol talk (screwing around) I took off my shoes and walked in the sand and let the sea wash over my feet and it wuz kewl lol. So there was some emoing then the post holders ceremony.

At least I managed to get a post. Then came the "Which ended on a sad note" news.

I'm moving from Hawk to Owl.

Like seriously, why switch a sec1 when the year has been spent like bonding with the patrol and everything. I mean, the main point about 01 is for all the batch and patrol bonding and everything, so doesn't this defeat the purpose?

So everyone started emoing. Well, looking on the brighter side at least someone (deluded lol) thinks highly of me, so I suppose this is a chance to prove myself that I'm actually worthy of the post they gave me. And Roy is some kewl guy, and Ter's in my patrol so maybe it isn't really that bad.

Events

Here I am sitting at home in front of the computer and I'm back from NZ and I'm still suffering from jet lag and its been nearly a month since I posted. Past 3-4 weeks have been very busy, with GTC prep, GTC fear, GTC, falling sick, coming home, packing for holiday, then the trip itself.

A lot to write about. So bear with me or just close the page.

GTC. The usual stuff, first day, pumping blah blah inspection blah. Which sucked again as usual. Well, GTC inspection didn't suck as much as SUTC inspection, but it sitll sucked. So after the USUAL pumping blah blah blah, we had SRITs where our group's imba knowledge of first aid made us the proest. Then some other random stuff before hiking to Bukit Timah. -.- Bukit Timah of all places. Why couldn't we hike to like. Like, the school field or something.

Anyway. The sec2s told us the route was about 10km (I think? With all the turns and stuff). It felt like about 100 km. And according to another sec2, the next day's would be sooo much more enjoyable, with the sun and no wind and our uniform. I think if not for my bag I would have attempted to run across the road and hopefully get hit by a particularly fast oncoming taxi, but my stuff would all be squashed.

So we (ZOMGFINALLY) reached Bukit Timah CCAB where we collapsed and then had dinner then built bashas then pumped then continued building bashas then fell asleep then woke up again to do sentry then fell alseep. End of Day 1.

Day 2. Woke up nice and early to a brilliant breakfast of bread, baked beans etc. (BTW I'M NEVER FREAKING EATING BAKED BEANS AGAIN TYVM), then plotted our checkpoints and left. So we hiked. Hike hike hike, foam foam foam. Halfway through I had some big-ass headache so I half collapsed so Wayne took my bag but I was still foaming but I managed to reach the end point. Of Pasir Ris MRT station. Like -.-, Bukit Timah CCAB to Pasir Ris MRT station. Straight line distance would make it about 20km, which is appoximately half the width of Singapore. Plus our checkpoints and twists and turns and fail navigation would make it about 25-26km. I later found out that our route was supposed to be 26km, so its probably about 27 given our imba navigation.

So day 2 night we were supposed to have Survival Night. Midway through our basha building in the middle of freaking nowhere, it poured with rain. Like, seriously, poured. We got out and reached Tanah Merah ferry terminal, where we had some food and a FREAKING HOT MEAL WHOOO. Then we went back for our bags (when the rain stopped, like, obviously) and went to some random building to sleep.

Day 3 was almost exactly the same, except that I completed like a quarter of the hike. My headache started again but I stupidly went to volunteer to navigate and ended up failing quit badly because I couldn't concentrate. So a quarter way through the hike I half passed out and had to go with the teacher to drive me to West Coast park, the end point. So that day's hike was basically across Singapore. My headache didn't improve so I went home.

Then the NZ trip.

1st day: flying.

2nd day: resting at motel in Auckland

3rd day: drove to Paihia

4th day: 90mile beach tour (where I had motion sickness -.- and I kept falling asleep)

5th day: Hole in the rock cruise where I got owned by the wind because the boat was travelling like really fast.

6th day: Drove from Paihia to Hamilton, which took about 6 hours.

7th day: Drove from Hamilton to Taupo.

8th day: Huka falls jet, which is like a really fast boat ride with lots of twists and spins and stuff. Went for it twice. In the afternoon went for a helicopter ride to see the hotpools.

9th day: Drove from Taupo to Rotorua. Then went for like a luge thing. At one point there was this slope where I was going too fast and I was airborne for like a second then I fell so hard my ass hurt and I got dislodged from the luge and I couldn't control it properly then I was going so damn fast (like 40km/h) and I crashed into a corner and I flew off the luge and I landed in the grass and completed 2 full turns and I have 2 swells on my legs and my hip hurts.

10th/11th day: went to see geysers and stuff

12th day: Drove back to Auckland.

13th day: Flew back to SG (in the plane I watched G.I. Joe again lol)

Well.

That was a long post.

But all (good) things must come to an end.

So this post comes to an end.

-.-

Weh. I'm surprised the counter is still going up. I mean, why can't it go down?

Anyway. GTC is coming up in a week. Really nervous about it. Just spent the last few weeks slacking around, lazing, wasting my (awesome) brain away. Typical holidays. I suppose every holiday is the same, sometimes you even wish that school would come quicker. I think the term is "sian". Sigh. After GTC things would be much better, without the dread and thought of, "crap GTC is coming I'm going to die I'm going to die help me I'm going to die".

-.-

Gah. Realised I like saying -.- a lot.

Got my guitar already. Still quite lousy at it, but I'll go no where but up from here onwards. I mean, I can't go down, can I?

Btw yes I did that on purpose.

Quick update before I go do tuition work.

Just a quick update before I go do tuition work. So far results have been received, and I don't want to talk about any of them except history. Past few days have been slacking around and doing stupid surveys that feel like EoYs after the long period of brain degeneration. People bring laptops to school and play the CoDs, PvZ and all those random games.

Well. Everyone from 01 is getting in the mood of GTC now, so the discipline and pumping starts, the smiles drop, and our hands get dirty.

-End of Update. Be grateful that I'm actually doing this.-

EOEOYS

Hay. Exams over. Woot. Slacking time begins. Emoing continues.

Came back from Marc's house 3 hours ago. Went there at 3pm yesterday, played Halo etc., went to his grandparents' house, had dinner, went back to Marc's house, played, read, read, read, played, finally gave up and fell asleep at 7am. Woke up at 12, played some Halo matchmaking, then after lunch was Halo ODST campaign.

Just woke up an hour ago after falling asleep because I'm tired lol.

I'm strong on the surface, but not all the way through

And maybe not that strong on the surface either.

Although I'm supposed to be on a hiatus, I just have to get this off me.

For this entire year I've been hiding behind the usual facade of laughter and being laid-back, although admittedly that is what I always do. But now I'm not so sure whether that's even a good thing.

I'm surrounded by people who are really good in academics, and having my name always at the bottom of the class actually, despite how I react when I first hear it, is really depressing. Of course, I can have the usual defense that academics isn't everything, but its not that simple. I'm torn between continuing with the usual bullshit of just screwing around and enjoying life as it is (terrible), and getting the typical "I'm going to mug now so go away" attitude which seems to have come over most people I know.

Yet, even if I continue as I am, I'm not even sure that's a good thing. Laughing everything off might be good in the short term, but I'm sensing that most people regard me as a fail. In class I just laugh and pretend to ignore it, but deep down I feel more and more uncomfortable and insecure.

I've also been a hypocrite, and I have to apologise to all those people (not many xD) who I've been an asshole to, argued with or just generally get rather pissed off at. I suppose most of the time its probably my fault, yet I still continue to argue. I'm starting to feel really insecure, like to my closer friends, I'm starting to wonder whether they stick with me because I stick with them and their just being nice and not asking me to screw off, or they really treat me as a friend. 1 year, or even 6 months ago, I've never had this feeling before, but this is becoming more frequent every day.

I've been meaning to post this for some time, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I don't know if I'm just burying myself under a facade, hoping that it would all somehow go away. This is the first time I've ever felt so under pressure and insecure, not even during PSLE. The timing of this post is quite crap, just after my birthday and just before EoYs.

I can't really find many words to express what I'm currently feeling, although I find Linkin Park's songs have a lot of relevance. I suppose you have to read deeper into the lyrics to figure out how I'm really feeling.

Crawling - Linkin Park
Crawling in my skin
These wounds, they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real

There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface
Consuming/confusing
This lack of self-control I fear is never ending
Controlling/I can't seem

To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence, I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure

Crawling in my skin
These wounds, they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real

Discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting/reacting
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection
It`s haunting how I can't seem...

To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence, I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure

Crawling in my skin
These wounds, they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real

Crawling in my skin
These wounds, they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing, confusing what is real
(There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface)
Consuming, confusing what is real
(This lack of self-control I fear is never ending)
Controlling, confusing what is real.

Test/Exams

Gah. Recently there has been a lot of test being given out. Can't say I did exceedingly well, but I did manage to pass maths, despite my emo angsting that I would fail. I actually passed :D, by one mark though -.-

Got back English compre today, pwnt everyone with mah 22/25. Lost to Gabriel though.

LOL filmed science advertisement today. I washed my hair and applied the shampoo, but since I'm totally do not have a crew cut the foam didn't appear. After I delegated my responsibilities to Mr. YY since he has like more hair than me, we filmed the thing. Well, we filmed scene 1 and 3 where my filming was pro.

Then did scene 2 after several million dry runs and trials and failures.

Gah going on a hiatus until after EoYs, just like (mostly) everyone who has a blog.

Mugging/EOYs

They go hand-in-hand, unfortunately. Firstly, I'd like to thank the same guy whom I'm having an MSN conversation with for asking me (FORCING ME) to write this post.

Actually I'm posting this when I'm supposed to be mugging, unfortunately once again. After this I'll probably go finish up the Maths Supp Ex that I really need to complete if I don't want my Maths score to be so pathetically low as compared to the rest of my class. Sad.

On the bright side, once EOYs are over, its slacking time! I probably won't pon school with the excuse of bronchitis but I'll just go there and stone. And stuff. Lol.

On the other hand, Mr 01 people like moi have certain things such as GTC and GTC preparation (TERENCE AND JUNXIANG YOU BETTER NOT FREAKING PON OR YOU DAI) to look forward to (um I mean dread). I just realised that GTC is made from the worst of Night Hike and SUTC.

I have come up with a recipe for GTC.

Item: GTC
Ingredients: Sadistic J1s, suanning manly people, Worst of Night Hike, Worst of SUTC, 5 days to spare.
Preparation: Extract the worst of night hike and SUTC with the method of crystallisation, since night hike and SUTC are mentally unstable. After this, roll the two together and beat well. Pump them as well. Roll them out flat with a rolling pin and make them do inspection. Then, add 5 days to the mixture and stir well. Make them walk well too. Then, put it in the microwave oven for 5 days, followed by rain for 3 days. Serve warm.

Well

First of all I need to thank a small boy from my class who I'm currently talking to on MSN for giving me inspiration to write this post. Due to extreme pressure from him I shall not describe or talk more about his size :D

Can't really think about much to write about, especially since the whole week has been dull and repetitive. Except that today's swimming lesson for PE pwned. It was the first time I actually had a proper swim for like 2 years, so it was kinda refreshing today. And I also realised I forgot how to do freestyle xD

So.

The Irony

Nothing to post now so I'll leave you with this.

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but
shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more,
but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and
smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees
but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more
problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little,
drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read
too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too
much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to
life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but
have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered
outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better
things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom,
but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but
accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more
computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but
we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small
character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of
two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are
days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night
stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to
quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and
nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to
you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to
just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going
to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because
that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the
only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but
most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes
from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will
not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious
thoughts in your mind.

Pioneering + Night Hike act

I don't usually post this often but I feel obliged to after a foamy camp on Saturday/Sunday.

Reached BWL at about 7:50.

Talk cock for a while, helped with the poles. After briefing went to start building stuff. Started on the (???)trachsel(???). The whole thing passed in kind of a blur, all I remember throughout the process of tying the ropes and poles is that the Oreos by John were pwnage and so were the soft drinks.

Then we had to erect the structure. Epically failed 2 out of 3 we built. First one went up in the second try. Second one, one of the poles cracked. Third one, one of the lashings came loose and a pole nearly GGed someone on the head.

Then dismantled structure and general clearing of mess. Went back to RI, briefing, shower, SPAM PRICKLY HEAT, refill bottle, prepare for hike etc. Dinner at J8.

Hike started at RPMRT. Basically just walked, walked, walked, break, walk, walk, walk, walk etc. Then we were changing the lyrics to some common songs. "Let's take a break this hike is shit, I really really need your first aid kit" etc. Time passed kinda quickly that way.

Finally reached RI at 2am after 6 hours of hiking. Needless to say, we were all half asleep standing up and our legs were dying. So we went to sleep etc.

Next day had some ossum Macs breakfast with JX and Terence LOL.

If not for the foaminess and the aching legs it actually would be kinda fun :D

Quick post

Just a quick post before I go for tuition =(. Why can't they banish tuition into some far corner of Africa. Life would be so much easier.

Anyway. Results so far have been like shit. Failed CL, barely passed History, but a reasonable but still below average for Maths. I still got 15/20 for poetry test though, so suan everyone who didn't get as high :D

Ok maybe I'll post like 3 times a month or something. That's quite demanding.

And my internet modem is screwed up. Keeps DCing.

EDIT: LOL I FORGOT TO POST ABOUT THE EX-TNS GATHERING

Lol.

Outing was fun. Reached TNS at about 11+. Reached there, saw Marc and some other people. Found Anton at the bookstore so we started to make fun of him (LOLLOLLLLLOLOOOOLOLOLLLOL).

Crapped around for a while, talk to people. Everyone looked so freaking different o.0

Went up to the hall, watched the speech, then the dance. The dance was fail, they were dancing to "Nobody" and they were totally rubbish. Anyway, during the Chinese drama club presentation thingy, Reynold decided to be evil to the JLJH and zhao before he could catch up with us since no one wanted him to come for the movie too. Lol. Plan failed. So we went to play soccer, then attempted to meet the teachers, but they entire corridor was like packed with students.

So at like 2 we left for Tampines Mall. Bus 31. Ate at KFC (DAMN NICE) then went to book tickets. Before that we were arguing which one to watch. Then went outside to play truth or dare. Damn retarded. Then the epic moment came.

I FREAKING SAW GERALD CHOA KAI KIT AND HE LOOKS SO............

Weird.

Voice changed, some manly mature deeeeeeeeeeeeeep voice. Specs change, some cool red thing which still looks retarded, but not as fail as the previous one. Emo clothes again. Sigh. People change so much after just a few short months.

Watched "Up", which I guess was ok and sort of touching but not really the sort I'm looking for. I probably can understand the themes of friendship & relationships etc. but doesn't appeal to me lol. Wanted to watch G.I. Joe. After that went home with Dommy, but we stopped at some bubble tea shop and I bought grass jelly because it pwns.

Lol fun.

*END OF EDIT (LOLWUT LONG POST -.-)*

zzz

Something happened to blogger? It looks retarded.

Anyway. Haven't posted for like a while. Lol. Too busy, too bored, too lazy.

The past few weeks have been quite crap. Tests, exhausting 01 acts etc.

LOL SET NEW HIGH SCORE FOR TTC VIVA LA VIDA LOLOLOLOL.

zzz.

The tests were largely ok. Science practical was somewhat easy. Maths too (although I got the last part of the last question wrong -.-)

OK THERE I'VE FREAKING POSTED SO SHUT UP ABOUT ME NOT POSTING KTHXBAI.

Poms

Lol I finally finished the first draft of one of my poems, the narrative.

Took a dang long time to come up with it, even so, its quite miserable and pathetic. Maybe I'll just post the first stanza?

EDIT: I JUST DELETED MY POM BECAUSE ITS SO DAMN EMBARRASSING.

Sunday, August 2, 2009

Ok.....

Ok.....

I dunno.

Lots of stupid stuff in the upcoming week. Let's recall.

Monday: English poetry test.

Tuesday: Nothing :DDDDDDD (lol my 7 chins).

Wednesday: Major sadface/angryface/surprised face since there's 2 CCTs and one practical. In one day. Recap - History, Geography, Science Practical.

Thursday: Nothing too

Friday: Submission of English Creative Writing Portfolio - Poetry.

I really don't like poetry. I can't explain. Poetry on its own is fine, I just don't like coming up with poems. It makes my head explode.

(Long awaited?) update

Ok, so I've been under pressure recently to post on this blog. So I am doing it.

For the past few weeks, I don't really feel like posting since I've been doing other stuff.

Anyway, we got back a few tests and I've done ~soso~.

Today, saw that old man sitting at the steps of the MRT station, playing some kind of flute thingy. Again, contemplated whether to give him money, then the light changed, so I crossed the road. Along the way, thought about whether what I had done was right. Next time I'll try to save up and give him money whenever he's there. Feel kind of sorry for him.

Anyway, we got back our marks for our fail history project in which our exhibit looked so....awesome?

2 hours of last minute Andre work > 2 weeks of group work.

Sigh

Fail

Quick post

Hi

Quick post time

This week sucked

Bye

Stop complaining

Monday, July 6, 2009

...

Let's just classify the several groups of people in this world.

First, theres those who are really good at something, but boast and brag about it and basically be a complete idiot.

Then, theres those who completely suck at something, but they still boast about it like they don't, and basically be even bigger idiots.

Then, theres nice people who are really good at something, but their humble and everyone respects them.

Theres also those who suck at something, but they know they suck and they just get on with life, or try to improve themselves.

Then theres those who are just average who either just keep quiet, or boast.

To me, it's like everyone I know can be classified into one of these six groups.

Rather stupid that my CS/CLE project website is called, imhumble.com (its not up yet :D).

H1N1

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/437803/1/.html

Look at that BS.

Even though the cases in SG are about 150, and 95% of people who voted on CNA say to EXTEND THE DAMN HOLIDAYS, our dear friend the Health Minister decided for schools to continue as scheduled. :@@@@

Anyway, I've decided to revert back to the old way of typing perfectly (not really perfectly) since I've discovered it really helped a lot in typing my plogs.

Anyway (again) I've completed quite a few of my projects already but there will be the constant nag of studying, mugging....

hay guyz

im back. and ive decided not to bother with posting with kengji style grammer and punctuation.

Danang was kind of ok lah. 80% motorcycles, 19% bicycles and 1% cars.

the trip was kind of disastorous. you'll see why.

Car drivers in Vietnam are srsly crazy. its like one hand on the horn and the other on the gear thingy. epic spam horning. even just coming out of the hotel must horn like xiao.

first day. arrived. foamed in the airport (not really airport. more like "failed attempt to be an airport" airport.) Went to the hotel. Lunch. Sleep until evening. Went to the beach and took random pictures of sunset. Unluckily there was no sun because there were too many clouds.

i just realised that im too into the habit of typing perfectly that im (almost) typing perfectly.

Anyway after taking all sorts of pictures with my fathers new imba 1337 camera, we went back into the hotel. washed up and went for dinner. came back, slept.

next day. after breakfast and shitting and stuff, went to hoi an. srsly hot, a lot more hot and humid than singapore. our original intention was to walk around hoi an and see random stuff. what actually happened was stoning in a cafe for 1 hour because it was so srslysrs hot. didnt have lunch because breakfast was too full lol.

went back to the hotel. washed up, stoned for half an hour, then took a taxi to marble mountain (sounds like marba mountan when the vietnamese say it lol.) walked up the steps to the top, took pictures, went back down again. went back to hotel, stoned, dinner, sleeeeeeeep.
dinner was quite.....interesting. There were 2 eating areas, indoors and outdoors. we were moved to a place outdoors, with the sea breeze and everything. Only problem was, everyone was smoking. we opted to go indoors. we ordered our food. First, the abalone. quite nice. next, the prawns. quite nice. next, the crab. quite nice too. then we waited. and waited. then the waiter came over and said: "im sorry we dont have anymore fish, chicken or beef".
quite impossible for a restaurant that size to run out of these 3 main foods right?
we had the last plate of  veg, then quickly left. we were all so :@ and D: that our dinner was gone. sigh.

next day. same morning routine which involved me sitting on the toilet reading for about 15 minutes. lol. then took a taxi to ba na mountain, where we were supposed to take a cable car up to the top. the cable car system actually (according to the information provided) set 2 guiness world records for height and length. it was 5 km long and about 1.5km high. quite scary lah.
on the way up it started to rain. it stopped after a while and i continued snapping pictures with my fathers new imba camera. i srsly took infinite bajillion pictures coz its ossumly addicting to spam pics. then it statred to rain even mroe at the top...so much so that they stopped the cable car system. since it was raining, we couldnt take pictures, since the system had stopped, we couldnt go back down.
in other words, we were trapped up there. for about 2 hours. damn sian lah. everyone around was either smoking or stoning. they just unrolled newspapers and picnic mats and started playing cards, while we just stood there, trying to keep away frmo the heavy smoke that hung in the air. once the rain stopped and the car system continued, we took a van further up the mountain, snapped pictures, went back to the cable car station, then rode down.
on the way down, it stopped again. i was like omgwhattheheckishappening. it was srsly damn scary, especially after you've read all those compos about how the cable car stops in mid air....
after a while it continued and i was like HENG SIA.
we took a taxi back and stoned, dinner, sleep.
Next morning, my father woke me up at 5 to go watch the sunrise, since one of the hotel staff told us that the sun would rise at 5:15. When we left the room at 5:05, the sky was bright. :@.
We went down to the beach to watch the sun complete its rising. it was already like in the air liao, but extreme bad luck combined with cloudy skies largely prevented us from even seeing the sun. :@
We just stoned for the rest of the day, sleeping and watching TV, drove to the airport, stoned some more for about 2 hours, got on the plane and went back to SG!

Danang

Flying off to Vietnam tomorrow.

Weathers going to be really hot and humid, much like Singapore's, so I'm bracing myself for HEAT.

Will blog more about it when I come back. Won't say when though :D. Keep you guessing.

AC stuff

AC was seriously fun. Really slack camp, basically meaning for the most part we could do anything we wanted between meal times/planned activities.

For the first day we just set up our sleeping and kitchen tents as well as started work on our gadgets, tables and gateways. We also cooked our own dinner, which consisted of rice, egg, black pepper chicken with onions as well as an epic dessert called creme buerleadfasdfasdfhiausgdifoagsdufoiasdf. The dessert was made with sugar, egg, butter and ice cream. At night, we had night (duh) games. Each person had 2 pegs (clothespegs) pegged to their backs. The aim of the game is for each patrol to attain as many pegs as possible by snatching it from other patrols. Each sec 1 was allowed a maximum of 4 pegs on the back, sec 2s 5, and sec 3s unlimited. If a person ran out of pegs, he had to go to a penalty area for a forfeit until a member of his patrol came to redeem him. Aside from the funness of this activity, the downside was it became incredibly...well quite violent because I was elbowed in the face. Along with the pain, the two extra bonuses were a big bruise and a swell at the bridge of my nose, as well as getting my specs owned.

Second day was the same, pioneering and tying and tying and cooking and eating and sleeping and shitting. Night activities was EA, short for external activity. Each patrol was given a checkpoint clue. Once the patrol had figured out where they were supposed to go, they had to go to that place (not in school, around Raffles Place MRT and Dhoby Ghaut). Once there, the patrol would be given a task clue. It was up to the patrol to decide how they wanted to complete the task. Judging was based on creativity and originality. Quite fun, extremely exhausting. I took a panadol on the way back lol because I had a headache lol.

Third day was exactly the same, with the addition of more rope burns. At night we had Stupid Quiz 2009. Rules are quite long and I won't bother to explain. What matters were that we won :D.

Fourth day. In the morning, after eating breakfast, we ran 2.9 km. Of course, I could exaggerate a bit and say it was 3 km, but I'm feeling honest now and I won't. After the run, we just went back to tying and pioneering again. At night was Festival of Lights. We just had to create as much lights as possible and have some theme/storyline to it. Quite fun, except our safety was fail and we probably got zero. Reason being we had fires next to wooden structures and ropes. We also lit up out tea lights with a gas stove and it was really LOL. Another reason was that we put sparkler dust into a glass jar and lit it with a sparkler. Soon after, the glass (GLASS) jar exploded.

Fifth day was cleaning up and it sucked. Quite self-explanatory. Then patrol standings for AC were announced and Hawk got 3rd place D:.

OH YES. An epic thing that happened on the second and third night. It rained.

For the second night, because I was sleeping in the kitchen tent which was open air, I knew about the rain quite quickly. We were all extremely afraid of the rain because firstly, it would mean our kitchen tent would collaspe, and secondly all our stuff would be wet. We stood there bailing out water for about 15 minutes, until a J1 told us to get out since it was a thunderstorm. Meanwhile I went back into the tent to push all the bags further in and attempt to close the flap. This was impossible for two reasons. One, the zip had broken off. Two, the string to hold the flap up was in a dead knot. Translation: half of the entrance was wide open. While I struggled with the flap, the rest of the patrol did a controlled collaspe of the kitchen tent and we ran into the shelter, where we slept for the next 2 hours until about 8am. I forgot to mention the rain occured at 5am in the morning. When we went back to our tents, we found out ALL our stuff was wet. Two simple reasons: the reason above and the fact that the bottom of the tent was not waterproof.

The third night it rained less heavily, so it was quite ok. We collasped the tent and ran into the shelter.

The rain was quite expected since it seems that every Annual Camp it rains, turning it into Annual Rain.

End result of the camp, I've turned multiple dozen shades darker due to prolonged exposure to the sun. aahhhhahahhaha D:

AC

Will be going for Annual Camp tomorrow all the way to Friday. It's going to be (supposedly) a fun camp but after SUTC I am quite skeptical about all 01 camps.

Will blog more about it when I come back, hopefully in one piece.

Another piece of news, the J1s made us bring our thermometers, which shows that the level of alertness is increasing due to the addition of another H1N1 case in Singapore, bringing the total to 5.

Benny you got your wish. Sadly it came during the school holidays.

June Holidays

Not really holidays.

Projects: History, Chinese, CS/CLE, RE and English. A grand (grand!) total of 5 projects for the entire duration of the June Holidays. I would probably have to go to other people's houses lots and lots of times.

Coupled with the fact that Monday will be Annual Camp till Friday, it's going to be fun but doesn't help matters much with my workload.

Anyway, for today and yesterday I foamed to finish the stupid banners and cutting and stuff. Friday was emulsifying spam. Today was painting spam. Had to use turpentine (purtenpine o.0 lolz) to get the paint off me.

Not really holidays.

I still can't think of a title.

Is this blog dead or dying?

I don't really have the time to follow the strict rules set by Benjamin that I have to post once a day because it's quite impossible, taking into consideration the fact that the workload has increased by a lot.

I have a fungus on my leg. Yes it's disgusting and its not mushrooms. It's not really that visible but you can see some bumps and rough surfaces. It is actually growing under my skin and thats seriously disgusting, gross, creepy and scary.

I shall now talk about the miniolympics which I said I would blog about in the next year. Be grateful that I actually remembered.

It was actually quite simple. For each win, the patrol gets 6 points, as opposed to the usual 3 points of the EPL. For each draw, the patrol gets 2 points, also as opposed to the usual 1 point in the EPL. For each loss you get nothing.

Basically each patrol will play a variety of games against each other, such as basketball, soccer, badminton and frisbee. There was also track events.

As usual, due to my pro-ness, we got first :D.

I still can't think of a title.

I can't think of a title

So it shall be that.

Tomorrow is Science Practical.....really nervous because I'm still a little unclear about what to do.....so let me just recap here.

Starch Test: Add 3-5 drops of iodine(I'm not sure about this part) to the solution and shake. If starch is present, the solution will turn dark blue.

Reducing Sugars Test: Add an equal amount of Benedict's reagent to the solution. Boil in a water bath for 3-5 minutes. If reducing sugars is present, the end result will be an orange/brick red precipitate. (Remember to observe the transition colours).

Protein Test: Add 3-5 drops of sodium hydroxide followed by 3-5 drops of 1% copper sulphate. If protein is present, the solution will turn purple (thanks George).

Fat Test: Add 3-5 drops of 70% ethanol solution to the solution. Shake and pour 3cm cube of solution into a test tube. Add an equal amount of distilled water. If fats are present, the solution will turn into a white emulsion (whatever that means).

I'm not sure if there will be anything else so I will check with people tomorrow.

Happy Vesak Day?

Today was "holiday" in-lieu for Vesak Day. "Holiday". More like "Foamingovermathssupplementryexerciseday". Spammed all five of it. I think I just lost 45% of my brain cells, wasted and splattered over crumpled worksheets, turning greyer as the worksheets turns soggier.

So Wednesday's act would be a "Neighbourhood run", which would more likely turn out to be a "Run around Singapore 5 times Run". Then two days later would be my 2.4 which I am planning to fail in since I still can get a silver even if I fail so I will purposely failfailfail. Maybe I should be like fjm and get 20 minutes?

Just maybe.

I need more chances to show off my manlyness, hence the maybe.

Manlyness.....manliness?

A problem with my digestive system

It is yet again official. I have constipation.

It started like a week ago and since then I've been releasing lots and lots of inspirational air every day. Whenever I shit only a few tiny pieces exit my body. That's why I have been taking a long time to shit every day, struggling and fighting a losing battle to constipation.

We shall now have a song to end of the post.

Uh huh, extra cheese.
Uh huh, Uh huh, save a piece for me.

Pizza party at your house,
I went just to check it out.
19 extra larges,
What a shame, no one came.
Just us, eatin' all alone,
You said, "take the pizza home.
No sense lettin' all this go to waste,"
So then I faced

Pizza all day, and everyday, there's cheese 'round the clock,
Is gettin' me blocked, And I sure don't care for irregularity.

Tell me,
Why'd you have to go and make me so constipated
'Cause right now I'd do anything to just get my bowels evacuated,
In the bathroom.
I sit and I wait and I strain and I sweat and I clench and I feel the pain
Oh, should I take a laxative or have my colon irrigated.
No, no, no.

I was feelin' pretty down,
'Til my girlfriend came around.
We're just so alike in every way, I gotta say.
In fact, I just thought I might,
pop the question there that night.
I was kissin' her so tenderly,
But woe is me.

Who would've guessed, her family crest.
I'd suddenly spy, tattoo'd on her thigh.
And son of a gun, it's just like the one on me.
Tell me.

How was I supposed to know we were both related?
Believe me if I knew she was my cousin we never would've dated.
What to do now?
Should I go ahead and propose and get hitched and have kids with 11 toes,
And move to Alabama where that kinda' thing is tolerated.
No, no, no.

(no no)x11
(oooh)
I had so much on my mind,
I thought maybe I'd unwind.
Try out that new roller coaster ride,
And the guide...

Said not to stand, but that's a demand,
That I couldn't meet, I got on my feet,
And stood up instead and knocked off my head you see!
Tell me!

Why'd I have to go and get myself decapitated?
This really is a major inconvenience, oh man I really hate it.
It's such a drag now.
can't eat, I can't breathe, I can't snore, I can't belch or yodel anymore,
Can't spit or blow my nose or even read Sports Illustrated.
Oh no!

Why'd I have to go and get myself all mutilated? (yeah yeah)
I gotta tell ya, life without a head kinda makes me irritated.
What a bummer.
I can't blink, I can't cough, I can't sneeze.
But my neck is enjoyin' a pleasant breeze now.
Haven't been the same since my head and I were separated.
No, no, no.

Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj

Come to think of it, this is probably my longest title -_-.

2.4 today was ok. Not what I had expected, but at least I got a D (I think).

The main point of this post: Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj has saboed the runners today to run AGAIN next week. Today's runners meaning those who ran today. The others could not because it was raining.

The main, no ONLY reason we have to run again is because Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj failed his lap counting. We were supposed to run 7 laps. He ran 6. He thought he ran 7. His lap counter, Zi Yang, failed too and said it was 7 (he later admitted it was 6). It was quite obvious that Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj skipped a lap because Yi Yong was always in front of Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj but Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj finished 6th and Yi Yong finished 7th. Obviously Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj skipped a lap.

And so, Mr Sarkkunan succumbed to student pressure because we all knew that Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj skipped a lap and we wanted Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj to retake the thing. So mr Sarkkunan asked Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj whether he wanted to rerun.

Lets analyse this question. There are two possible responses for Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj to choose from, Yes or No.

Yes = Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj would run again and today's runners can sit back and suan him.

No = Everyone has to run again to avoid the discreppancies.

The stupid part is, no matter what answer Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj gave, Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj would still have to run. The difference is whether today's runners (me included) will run with Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj.

So Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj said No, ie, Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj saboed everyone to run again.

And so now Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj owes us 2 tofus.

I don't care if Jedidiah Andrew Seth Xayaraj sees this, but I am seriously :@ with him and I am going to be the main person in the tofu.

I'm so :@

The contrast

Just realised the huge and majorly huge contrast between primary and secondary school. I was at TNS today after LJD to pass my RE survey to the P6 GEP students. So because I couldn't find my teachers, I wandered around the school in hopes of seeing a familliar face (which I eventually did). Since it was the afternoon session, the epic lameness of the P1-P2 failures in life shouted out at me how huge a difference there IS between secondary and primary school (actually some are no better than P3 but I shall not name names).

Maybe its because as we age our view on life and perspectives changes, our priorities (prioritIES) changes, and basically a lot of things about us and our maturity (or lack of it for CERTAIN people) changes a lot too.

TODAY

Today was quite slack. Me and Benjamin were singing our batch song during science because we were sooooooo bored. Then played some random 1980 song during guitar lesson, and now my hands hurt.

Yesterday was also quite fun, because we had match support for the C (or B) Division Basketball South Zone finals. CHS coach super funny. Firstly, he is FAT. He had one gigantic paunch sticking out of him. He was so fat his paunch looked like one of his six pacs. The other five were stored elsewhere in his body o.0.

The CHS coach is seriously an epic fail as well as an epic loser as well as an epic failure in life. At the start, CHS was six points down and he was uber :@. Shouting and swearing and shaking his fat paunch and stamping the ground like an unintelligible, uneducated bulldog brought up by bulls. He was manhandling his players. The CHS basketball players probably weren't fighting for the trophy, rather for their lives, judging from the epic failness and angryness of the epic fail coach.

"Our basketballers fought hard, eventually emerging champions of the South Zone by a convincing scoreline of 69-47. May I now invite Mrs. Lim up on stage to congratulate the players. Mrs. Lim, please."

Blog title?

thisisaweirdblog.blogspot.com doesn't really fit the theme and purpose of this blog. Shouldn't it be, thisisanindianblogaswellasanemoblog.blogspot.com?

Geography test today was ok. Within 1 minute of the ending of the test, there were about 4-5 debates going on about the last question. This House Believes That the diagram for the last question should be a transform boundary. I am the opposition.

Good evening judiscators (or whatever it is) and members of the desktop, I am the first and only speaker from the opposition team. Firstly, it is important to realise that the question was asking for the cross section of the North American Plate and JUAN DE FUCA PLATE, not the Pacific plate. In the atlas, it states that the JDF plate and the NA plate converge. If the question was asking about the Pacific Plate and the NA plate, then it would be true that the diagram should be of a transform boundary.

For my second substantiate, a subduction zone would be the area where a denser plate (in this case the oceanic plate) subducts. In Figure 2, the line where the cross section should be drawn indicates that the subduction zone should be included in the diagram. How would a transform boundary have a subduction zone?

Therefore, this argument cannot stand.

01 Campfire

Campfire was ossum. I sang ok and everyone was like clapping along and screaming and stuff, but they did that for every song -_-. Everyone in 01 must now epic suan Jun Xiang. He was mike spamming stuff like "Justin, don't forget your lyrics!" into the mike backstage where everyone could here and they were like o.0?????????

Then Qie Hua forgot his lyrics, but it was ok cause everyone kept saying, "so cuuuuuuuuute" o.0.o.0.o.0.o.0

Then today Terence said that in Jamaican farewell, me and Jia Sheng were not singing in time to the music so he cut off the last part so it wouldn't be so paisehhhh. HAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAAHHAHHHHAHAH

Animal Abuse

During assembly we had a talk by the founding member or ACRES, or *somethingsomethingsomethingsomethingsomething*. He was talking about stuff like animal testing, how in 40 minutes, 8000+ sharks would have been killed and whale sharks.

My point is, I am actually quite disgusted with people like these who abuse all these animals. A question posed to us by the guy was, "Do animals have rights"? My answer would be, "why not?"

Even though animals may not be as intelligent as us, why should it mean that they are given less or no rights? They were put in this earth for a reason. Should humans be so blind and ignorant as to not see that?

Maybe because I'm quite different from others. I don't really know how to explain because I don't really know myself, but why must humans be so self centered? Is it really hard to imagine if you were kidnapped, brought to a country on the other side of the world and made to do something you dislike for the rest of your living life?

And the case about sharks. 8000 sharks killed, slaughtered, every 40 minutes. In one year thats about a 100 million sharks killed, or should I say, murdered. Just a thought, if 100 million people were murdered every year, would the world take action? Would there be an outcry? Naturally there would be. Not saying this is a bad thing. But if the people were replaced with animals like sharks, would the reaction be the same? Why should it be different? Aren't they living, sentient beings like humans?

What should make homo sapiens so special?

01 campfire

Just received email from Yan Wei. According to the email, we will be staying back in school up to 6pm because we have another campfire reheseal. That sounds bad. The rest of the email was covering details of the campfire. We report at Choa Chu Kang MRT station at 7:30am. That is total shit. Firstly, if my parents drive me there, we will have to leave at 7am. If I take MRT I will have to leave at 6-6:30 am. Then we have to stay over night up to 11am the next day. Firstly, that means that I would be missing my last catechism lesson of the term. And I still have not fully recovered from my illness last week. AND I would have to perform during the campfire.

Would I dare to say that I regret a little joining 01?

Just a thought

Just a thought. I hate it when people say, "don't waste my time". Firstly, what makes their time so much more important than others? Why can't they just be a little nicer and less self-important? Why must they be so selfish and self-scented till they can't find their butts with both hands? Why must they be so arrogant that they only see the tips of their noses? Why am I asking so many whys?

This thought actually came a while after SUTC, which, as some of you may know if you have been loyal to me and reading this fail blog, is one of the toughest (after GTC since GTC is twice as hard) camp ever to exist on the face of this universe. It aimed to teach us batch bonding, discipline and others before self, and it sucsseded (however you spell it). Maybe SUTC was more worth the 3 days spent on it then I thought o.0

Sunday

Can't really think about what to blog about at the moment. The past few days have been quite crazy. 5 hours of activity on saturday has caused the rest of the day to be tired and headache-inducing. I was exhausted. After that I had to have tuition, and I was falling asleep.

So, today (sunday), I have to chiong the work for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 3 days of work smashed into one. =(

I'll post another later.

Something extremely serious and important

It's official. I am unwell. This has led to $59.50 of medical bills as well as an MC to miss two days of school. It may sound good but I still feel like crap so there's nothing much to enjoy =(. In addition to missing two days of school, I have also missed 01 campfire preparation, so I don't know how my groups progressing and whether they have finished making the birch tree.

Stupid illness.

It started on Good (GOOD) Friday.

Jia Sheng, I Hate You.

Batch bonding fail.

But, Jia Sheng did not go for SUTC.

He said he had to go to Failaysia.

Yes, it is a word I just came up with.

Yesterday

Yesterday was 1337. Went to Marc's house at 12.30. Played Halo 3 until I had to be interrupted to go for tuition. =( After 2 hours, went back to Marc's house again at 5.30, then played Halo 3 again until 10.40. Actually we were supposed to finish at 9pm but it dragged on for 1 hr 40 minutes more :D. SHIOK.

Then Liverpool beat Blackburn 4-0. The day could have been better if Manchester United had drawn. =(

Notice this post is full of emoticons.

01 :: Dreading or looking forward?

Just realised that before acts I would be very "dready". Can't find a word for it. I ask myself why. "Why?" I asked. "Well, I just cannot summon up any enthusiasm to be enthusiastic about 01 acts," I replied.

Maybe because I've been feeling very sian and emo for this 2009 year. I don't really know.

Campfire Prep

My group has been preparing for the song, "Land of the Silver Birch". I just found out that I would not be acting as originally planned, so yay. I'll just be moving props around, but aside from that there is also a huge amount of preparation to do.

Today actually was full of crap. I failed my Chinese CCT. 21 half / 50. Lowest in class, but thankfully got a 2.8 for GPA. Still lowest in class though.

My name

Just looked through a few of the blogs from my class. It seems that almost everyone of them spells my name with 2 Ls instead of 1. I suppose I have my parents to blame for that. They liked 1L instead of 2 o.0

For MU/AR we learnt guitar. Which was 41208937401283470128930471238 times better than using the MAC. Not because I disliked it, but because I can get out of the group with Gabriel *vomits* and Dean *vomits more*. Heng ka lau sai.

Today was quite a slack day compared to others. Nothing special.

Yay at slackingness

A problem with my blog

Whenever I tried to type in the URL into the browser, I reached the page called 403 Forbidden. It is weird.

Anyway, for 01 today, we had 75th annual campfire briefing and preperation. Basic stuff, like preparing for the performances and stuff.

Here's a breakdown of the next few days.

Thursday: Formal letter writing assesment to Daniel Keyes (who might be dead o.O)
Friday: Submission of Science Report. Preperation for camp and chionging homework =(
Saturday and Sunday: Camp at Lorong 2 Low Koon. Where is that??
Monday: I have no idea
Tuesday: I have no idea too.
Wed: etcetcetc.

Yay to a completely hectic, jam-packed, "fun-filled", busy, less-sleep nights and crap.

The World and its Unfairness

As you may notice, this is actually my second post in about 5 minutes. This is because "Mugging" has absolutely nothing to do with "The World". Anyway.

I read in a book before. "It seemed to Rick that one half of the world was on fire, and the other half got out their sticks and marshmallows as though it were a nice campfire".

I can't help but think this is true. I mean, in poor and starving countries like South America, where people are skinny and make a living through begging, and then people on the other side of the world are talking about sports and beauty. I am also rather angry that these well-off people don't seem to care much about poor people. When people are talking about beautifying themselves, people are desperately fighting to support themselves and their families. It is really unfair to the poor people.

In the official music video to "What I've Done" by Linkin Park, it showed a picture of a starving person in Africa. The next picture was an obese American stuffing himself grossly with hamburgers.

Says it all, really.

Mugging

I have begun to realise that this blog has not become a random blog anymore, but more about what happens in my life as an 01 and a guy in school. I should change my blog name, shouldn't I? I also will try to improve on my spelling, grammer and punctuation so that it becomes easier when I am typing out a composition or report.

Anyway, I have been mugging and staying up late for many nights as a sec 1 in RI. This is actually a rather humongous surprise, especially since TNS was seriously slack. I have just finished the "discussion" part of the Science Report and I am extremely relieved that today is over. I have finished my Chinese Composition/Essay, and it is something that I am very proud of. Firstly, I wrote 700+ words, which is twice my usual. Secondly, my father actually said that he was surprised (pleasantly).

I have also completed the mindmap and first draft of my English Individual Short Story, which I am also very happy about. One piece of work done means one less thing to worry/mug/foam about.

Yay to a completely weird day. Especially doing work on the MRT o.O

Reflection

Just some thoughts about SUTC. Firstly, the only bad things about it were the spam pumping and the endless rushing about. It was actually quite a good camp because in other camps, its quite slack, allowing me to have time to be emo and homesick and stuff. This time, because i was rushing about RI, it was jampacked with stuff so that i cant be emo. so, overall, 8/10.

Job Week and SUTC

Firstly, about Job Week. Saturday and Sunday were taken up for job week, which i have to say is quite a new experience. as in, its my first time ringing doorbells/knocking on doors of strangers, saying my big script and trying to get a job/donation/contribution. Of everyone who didnt wave me away, 97.3719% donated. I had a total of 3 jobs -_-.

Saturday was a good day. We were brought by one of the J1s (thanks zhi xuan!) to buangkok where its job week paradise. i got like $40 from 1 block? pro.

Sunday was crap. $25 total. luckily $60 got pumped in and i had a final total of $205.

Now for SUTC. It was actually a lot funner than i expected, especially since zhixuan was like, "this will probably be the toughest experience of your life" and zhang ren was "don't worry, its only a few thousand pushups". We actually did something close to that, but it was in the form of pushups, crunches, situps, squats and all the random stuff the J1s could think of.

The first day. Inspection sucks. Taking out every single thing from the bag and dumping it in a roughly formatted manner on a groundsheet, then rolling it up again, folding it and dumping it into our bags. Try to do this about 8 times. During that, we added about 2500+++++++++++++++to our original count of 500. Then we did some first aid revision stuff with SS, then lunch. CHEEBOH CALL FTW. yimingemingyimingemingyimingemingyimingeming. their strong. then some random stuff until dark. Night orienteering. We got hopelessly lost because i navigated lol. From Yoa Chu Kang MRT, we got lost for 30min, in which we could have completed like 2 more checkpoints. of a total of 8 checkpoints, my patrol completed 2 -_-'. Seriously EPIC FAIL.

The second day. Im tired of typing so much so i will just put the events down. Nightcall, pumping, footdrill, sleep, horseshoe, changing many times, collasping tents, random stuff which i cant remember, hands burnt on basketball court, random stuff, first aid testing, mystery activity, caterpillar walk, dirty pants underwear and legs, dinner, nighthike at macritchie blindfolded, sleep.

The third day. Nightcall, packing tents, pushups, PT, batch forum, clearing our count, changing, horseshoe, clearing counts again, flag lowering, end of camp yay :D. Now im tired with first-second degree burns on both hands and 2 blisters on my right hand. sigh.

01 stuff

Does anyone like doing push-ups in mud? If you do then click the red cross in the right hand corner of the screen and go away. We (sec 2s and sec 1s or "trainees") had to do like 23 in the mud? with rain? i cry liao.

Besides that, it was an OK day. Thankfully, we dont have any work today so thats 1337.

best for last, we dont have school on friday coz our 1337 principle decided that the 1337 JC students had 1337 results so we have a 1337 holiday plus 1 extra 1337 march holiday. 1337

RE lesson on Friday

re lesson was damn retarded. like, the discussion started with the group giving ideas and contributing, and it looked like it would be a peacful day, then i could choing home and slack for 3274102837470912834 picoseconds. The discussion ended with jeremiah in tears and pissed off, andre extremely pissed off, and the rest of the group pissed off and upset, and also near zero work done. how productive.

about some 01 stuff. TMR will be the briefing for SUTC. as it seems, Job week is just before SUTC. and i also happen to have a cathecism camp on 28-29 march. like, 3 camps in one month? fail.

Im not actually looking forward to SUTC coz someone in my patrol (thanks a lot zhang ren) was like, Dont worry about SUTC, it will only be a few thousand push ups. like wth? so yeah, it basically sucks.

CCA today plus no random stuff.

50 push-ups FTL...
ok, so we owe the J1s like 300+ push ups for undiscipline, fidgeting, misbehaving, being late etc etc etc. so that kind of sucks.
anyway, ummmm, muster parade. being my first one, i did not exactly come away with a very good impression about it. i mean, it rained, we were standing there like idiots, and mrs lim was like chionging through the inspection to get out of the rain, so it was.....23742)3).
so now im like dead tired and im going to sleep.
and i also found out that.....2 probably exhausting days of job week is just before SUTC.
As in : 14 - 15 Mar-Job week. 16-18 Mar-SUTC, which will be physically and mentally challenging. i feel like slacking =(

Something EMO

ok, its my second post of the day, and i want to say something EMO. i saw an old man sitting on the steps (not tracks) of the MRT station. he was a beggar. i had seen him before. i wanted to give him some money butttttt on the box it said "Sing song". it prob meant that he would sing a song, and i didnt want that coz it would be so pai seh. -_-' so i didnt give him. but i saw his foot, and it was like old and wrinkled and bent, so i guess im feeling guilty and emo now.

anyway, besides the emoness, its time for some random stuff. i like to have fried rice for lunch. actually, its the only thing ive been eating for 1 week. i also probably failed my history test coz it was BS. i didnt know the timeline question coz i prob didnt come on the day mr wong explained it. sighz

Intro ftw

Ok, since its my first blog, and i dont actually have much idea what to do, there wont be much in this blog, except that its a random blog.
