Long time no post. heeheehee.
Some big events in the past month.
Mid-years. Frankly, I don't much purpose in having a major set of exams mid year and end of year. The midyear carries so much weightage, if you just screw it up a little you could screw up your entire GPA for the year. Isn't it better to just have little CTs every now and then so that it's not so taxing on the students?
English was okay, Maths was retarded, Chinese was impossible, Science was bleh, Geog was painful on the fingers and history is expected failure. Completely went out of point for the 17 out of 25 total marks essay. Barely mentioned the topic question at all, since I didn't even know what it meant.
Just came back from Malaysian Montage yesterday. Before the trip I didn't understand the hype, but my view has changed, like, completely.
Day1. Assembled at RI at 6:30, then took the coach for like damn long and reached Malacca at 1-2 plus, with customs checks on Singapore/Malaysia checkpoints and toilet stops + breakfast stop along the way. At Malacca we went straight to some kampong village, quite cool, can see the monkey climb tree and throw down coconuts. Also saw the way rubber is collected for our everyday use. Then went and checked in to our hotel, Puteri Resort. Quite a nice place actually, very different from the cheapskate 2star shithole I was expecting.
Day 2. Missed morning call at 5:30 so we woke up at 6:10 instead. Chionged through the usual morning routine then took some damn long bus ride to an ostrich farm. Quite educational, at least learnt a lot about ostriches. And also found out that the bury your head in the sand thing that ostriches supposedly do is false. They don't stick their heads in the sand, they charge at you and kick you and stampede all over you. Apparently their kick exerts 200 pounds per square inch of pressure. So zai.
After that went to the city centre in Malacca. Had lunch there, some chicken rice thingy. Then had some amazing race which was damn boring, took damn long also. Then after that went back to hotel to stone and stuff.
Day 3. Went for some reforestation rubbish which was cut short because of epic thunderstormz then took some damn long bus ride down to Johor. Reached hotel at 3:30 plus, checked in, stoned until 5:30. Took another bus ride to some random place in the middle of nowhere. Had dinner (IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RAIN. Actually under some shelter), then took some fireflies river cruise thingy. Damn cool, the fireflies like some Christmas tree, and its actually believable, unlike the glowworm caves in Australia/New Zealand, because there's so damn many glowworms and they don't move at all and you begin to wonder if their actually light bulbs. The lightning in the sky also damn cool. Damn big, some family tree la.
Day 4. Checked out of hotel and went for some coastal trek thing. Quite cool also, then took another damn long bus ride back to Singapore.
Heehee at least I updated. Be. Grateful. You. Retards.
